The University allows Hybrid courses without curriculum approval if some, but not a significant majority, of instruction is delivered online rather than via face-to-face contact between students and an instructor(s).

For fully online courses, those with a significant majority of instruction as distance learning, units must have the course approved to be offered as Distance Learning via the course-change/course-approval process.
