If you are a new Curriculum Coordinator or temporarily taking on this role, there are many resources available to help navigate course scheduling.
This link will take you to the Time Schedule Production Calendar with links to useful tools.
While Time Schedule Construction is open, you can add/change courses yourself. Then there is a Dead Period for 2-3 weeks while we build the schedule. We ask that you do not submit further change requests during this time.
Once the schedule has been generated, Time Schedule Update becomes available. Here you can make simple changes, such as updating registration requirements and course comments.
SUMMARY OF QUARTERLY SCHEDULING CYCLE
Time Schedule Construction available to departments | Scheduler sends requests & reminders to Coordinators | Time Schedule Construction closes (Dead Period) | Time Schedule Update opens Changes Period | Non-course event reservations open |
Curriculum Coordinators update approved credits, instructors, day, time, and indicate their wing preference for room. Past courses replicate in system and are updated as needed.
|
Academic Scheduler reminds Coordinators about deadlines, including end of time schedule construction and need for preferences to be submitted via FormStack. |
Coordinators cannot make updates or submit requests during this time. Academic Scheduler moves through scheduling procedures utilizing SDB & 25Live. |
Coordinators can now review and make changes to their courses. Academic Scheduler supports additional changes. |
After the time schedule goes live online, or if you need to make complex changes, you can send requests to the Academic Scheduler using the course add/change form.
Further resources are available on our Course Scheduling webpage.
